Jose Morales brings a flair for flourishes and card sleights that result in visually stunning routines you've probably never seen before (and let’s be honest, you’ll want to). Take Clam Catch for example: a random selection is tossed into the air and, magically, it lands in a fan of cards with no shenanigans involved. He hands the deck over to the spectator, who spreads the cards to reveal that the chosen card is nestled snugly between two jokers (or two previously picked cards). It’s also a brilliant out! Donald Carlson leans into a more classic approach to magic. Not all flash and dazzle, but rather smooth, stealthy moves that’ll have your audience scratching their heads. Take The Pad Spread Switch: it’s the kind of clean handling that could pass for a camera trick. Imagine trapping the 6 of Diamonds between two jokers and casually placing them on the table. Then, you show the King of Clubs, flip over the jokers, and—voilà!—the King and the 6 have switched places, and nobody has a clue how you did it.
