In our Quantum Rings project, we’ve taken existing Linking Rings technology and, let’s just say, we didn’t stick to the script. You’ll find two Linking Ring routines in this download that are sure to tickle your fancy and challenge your skills. The first routine features five rings and is a snappy little number perfect for parlor shows or as a cheeky opener for your larger stand-up gigs. The second routine ups the ante with six rings and is designed to be a showstopper for those more formal stage performances. Plus, it involves audience volunteers—because what’s more fun than putting the spotlight on someone else while you work your magic?
Both routines introduce some bold new concepts that will have your audience scratching their heads. First up, we’ve got a five-ring false count. It’s deceptively simple, but it looks like you’re counting five distinct rings. Then there’s the keyless ring routine in the six-ring setup, where you link the rings and hand them over to your chosen helpers for inspection. And here’s the kicker: they’re holding all the rings, and they’re all solid. Thanks to some clever switching, you’ll create the illusion of linked rings that are anything but ordinary.

Solo Linking Rings - This is the classic Al Schneider ring routine from his book, Al Schneider Magic, but with the added twist of the new five-ring count. We’ve also sprinkled in some extra subtleties to make it pop like never before.
Full Stage Linking Rings - Get ready for a dramatic entrance! Picture this: the magician pulls a sphere made of three rings from a large box with a flame—yes, a flame—dancing in the center. This routine unfolds in three phases, starting with some slick manipulation of those three rings. Then, you’ll invite an audience member up as you pull three more rings from the box. The magic happens when these rings are linked and handed to your volunteer for a close inspection. Remember, they’re holding all the rings, and every single one is solid! In the final act, the rings link and unlink in ways that will leave your audience questioning everything they thought they knew about metal.
