Jon Armstrong has spent most of his life charming crowds with a deck of cards and a quick quip or two (or three). Having performed for some of the globe's most prestigious audiences across 30 countries, Jon knows a thing or two about captivating crowds. Growing up in Orlando, he was mesmerised by the magic at nearby theme parks and, well, the rest is history. His big break came when Disney invited him to Epcot, making him their resident magician at the tender age of 20. Not long after, Las Vegas came calling, and he became a regular headliner at Caesar's Magical Empire. And if you thought that was it, think again! Jon has been touring the world, both performing and lecturing, ever since.
Now based in Los Angeles, he’s a familiar face at the iconic Magic Castle. His television credits include appearances on A&E's Magic Castle After Dark and USA's Ready For The Weekend. If that wasn’t enough, he’s lent his magic expertise to shows like CSI: NY, Las Vegas, and even The Wizards of Waverly Place. Currently, he's working as a magic consultant for the hit CBS show The Mentalist. Within the magic community, Jon’s been featured in publications like MAGIC, The Linking Ring, and M-U-M. He even graced the cover of Genii in December 2004, which was dedicated to his work. In April 2007, after a couple of years of being nominated, he snagged the title of Close-Up Magician of the Year from the Academy of Magical Arts. Not too shabby, eh?
