Background

So, picture this: one sunny day in July, we stumbled upon a video in Coin Magicians, the most buzzing coin magic group on Facebook, and it was getting likes and comments like it was the latest cat meme.

Curtis Kam, a big shot in the coin magic world, even chimed in: "That was fun, and magical."

Curiosity piqued, we hit play.

What we saw was a chap lifting his left hand and conjuring a coin out of thin air in the most conventional way—at this point, we were thinking, "Is that it?"

Then came the twist: he moved the coin to a spot in the air and gave it a tap. Ding, ding, ding... Suddenly, there was a coin-clicking sound materialising from nowhere! And then, voilà, another coin appeared at the tapping spot...

Sleight of hand? His hand was wide open...

Gimmick? Short sleeves were on display...

Hiding it in his clothes? Not a chance—his attire didn’t even flinch...

Sure, using coins to create fake sounds isn’t groundbreaking, but this was as clean and realistic as it gets.

The genius behind the video? Hoang Doan Minh. After a few more videos and some back-and-forth chats, we knew we had to work together.

Months of collaboration later, we present to you - Audiokinesis.

What’s the deal with Audiokinesis?

Coin magic is one of the most varied forms of close-up magic, capable of tricking both our eyes and ears.

With Audiokinesis, we’re introducing one of the cleverest sound illusions you’ll ever encounter: The Bing Sound. This gem, conceived by Binh Nguyen and polished by Hoang Doan Minh, produces a "bing" sound effect as if a coin is tapping an invisible counterpart in the air. The possibilities are endless, giving your audience a magical experience they won’t forget.

Hoang’s Audiokinesis is a clever system built around the Bing Sound, featuring three structured and captivating routines. It’s a practical addition that’ll enhance your coin performances with a dash of audibility.

Included is a physical gimmick and an extensive online tutorial by Hoang himself. He’ll guide you through everything from the basics to three complete routines that have received the nod from numerous coin magicians. And the best part? No gaff coins needed.

If you’re after something that’ll make your coin magic truly memorable, this is it.

Three Routines

Ant-Man and the Ghost

Bring the plot of "Ant-Man and the Wasp" to life using a silver and a copper coin. The Bing Sound adds an extra layer at every turn, making it feel like a sci-fi adventure right before their eyes. The climax? Absolutely spot on for the theme.

Hoang Coin Across

Watch as three coins materialise from the air one at a time in Hoang’s signature style, travelling seamlessly from one hand to the other. This routine is brimming with nuances.

Invisible Visible

Make three coins appear and vanish, one by one. With the added sound dimension, the magic of appearance and disappearance becomes even more deceptive.

No gaff coins are needed for these three routines.
