Picture this... The spectator picks a card and cuts it into the deck. With the deck cradled in one hand, they’re handed a rather dodgy-looking stick of dynamite. "I’ll find your card before this 10-second fuse goes off," declares the magician, oozing confidence. Then, the fuse is lit, but instead of a leisurely ten seconds, it erupts in a flash followed by a thunderous BOOM! Cue the spectator dropping the dynamite (and probably flinging the cards into the air like confetti). The chosen card? Gone! The deck is shown to be utterly devoid of it. But wait, as the dust settles, the spectator retrieves the dynamite and, with a tremulous finger, pokes through its centre to reveal... their selected card! Ideal for close-up, stand-up, street magic, or stage (and guaranteed to raise a few eyebrows).

BOOM 2 (Signed card) Same basic idea; Use ANY deck of cards! The spectator signs their card and appears to shuffle it back into the deck. This bonus trick comes with a nifty new card sleight designed just for Boom 2, but hey, it works in a load of other tricks too.
