Journey To The West is a Chinese epic that graced the shelves in the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty. It’s hailed as one of the four great classic novels of Chinese literature and probably the most beloved literary gem across East Asia.
HypieLab’s take on "The Journey to the West," crafted by Sin Yee Lam, cleverly weaves together Chinese mythology, Taoist and Buddhist philosophy with a splash of modern fiction. Featuring classic line-art characters, this deck serves up a fresh, artistic spin on an age-old tale that’ll tickle the fancy of both the traditionalists and the trendsetters.

And while both editions flaunt the same court card characters, the premium version gives them a rather snazzy makeover.
