Card Collector by Jean-Pierre Vallarino - Trick

Introducing the only pocket card trick in existence that lets you perform magic WITHOUT PALMING!

You’ve probably seen that classic trick where a spectator’s signed card vanishes from the deck, only to magically reappear in your wallet. It’s a crowd-pleaser, but let’s be honest—palm techniques can be a right pain to master (and let’s not even get into the sweaty palms).

With Card Collector, you can pull off this jaw-dropping effect with ease and add a pinch more pizzazz!

1. A deck of cards? Borrowed from a spectator, naturally. They shuffle it (who doesn’t love a little chaos?).
2. A card is freely selected and signed by another member of the audience (it’s all about teamwork here).
3. That card? It gets lost in the deck, which the magician pops into the card case.
4. Off it goes into the inside pocket of your jacket (like a magician’s secret stash).
5. Roll up those sleeves and show off those empty hands (no funny business here!).
6. Head to the back pocket of your trousers to retrieve the card holder (that’s right, it’s all above board).
7. Seriously, those hands are empty—no sneaky moves, no hidden cards. Just pure magic.
8. The card holder is handed to the spectator, who opens it up to find... surprise! It’s the card they signed just moments ago!

Strong points:

• The deck can be borrowed
• It’s genuinely shuffled by the spectator
• No forcing—everyone’s choice is free
• All cards are different and totally normal
• The card can be signed, and no funny business happens
• Magician's hands are empty when reaching for the pocket—no palming nonsense
• The signed card can be kept as a souvenir (because why not?)
