Now, here are some of the mind-bending routines you’ll find in that tutorial video:
Coincidence: Your audience gets to shuffle the cards with numbers 1 to 9. They place the cards on the table to form three three-digit numbers, and—surprise!—the sum matches your prediction, which could unlock a secret or, you know, a phone.
99 to 1: Show off your glorious number cards, and let the spectator pick two to create a two-digit number. You reveal a prediction that has every number from 1 to 99—then with a flick of your wrist, that card magically changes to only show their chosen number. Classic!
Cheater's Bet: You lay down a card face down and reveal five cards all marked with the number 20. Four go on the table while the last one lingers on top of the deck. You reveal the face-down card to unveil a money symbol (think €) and toss in a 20 euro bill for good measure. But hold onto your hats—the cards are flipped, and none of them show a 20. Surprise, surprise!
The Magic Square: Present a set of numbered cards and let the spectator form a two-digit number. They check a prediction card with 16 different numbers. Spoiler alert: their number won’t be there, but when you add up the columns and rows, guess what? It’s their number. Mind. Blown.
