In this cracking video, the brilliant Brazilian magician Raphael Seára—who’s been dazzling crowds for over 15 years—shows off some seriously impressive card tricks that don’t require any sleight of hand or dodgy manipulation. (Yes, really!)
Os Coringas Caçadores (Hunting Jokers) - Our magician invites a spectator to pick a card, sign it, and shuffle it back into the deck. Then, he presents two jokers with different coloured backs, claiming they’re on a mission to find that signed card. Placing one joker on top and the other on the bottom, with a flick of the wrist, those jokers do their magic and locate the chosen card!
Intuição Perfeita (Perfect Intuition) - A spectator freely selects a card, which just so happens to match the one the magician has kept in a glass the whole time. And just when you think it can’t get any odder, he reveals the deck is completely blank—no numbers, no letters, just a whole lot of white! (Mind blown.)
Previsão Aberta (Open Prediction) - The magician boldly predicts which card the spectator will choose. To prove he’s not pulling any funny business, he gets the spectator to shuffle the deck before casually pointing out a card they can pick freely. No funny business here—yep, you guessed it, the selected card matches the prediction!
Infiltração (Infiltration) - Here’s where it gets really fun. Ten red cards are held in one of the spectator’s hands, while ten blue cards are in the other. With a magical command (cue the suspense), three cards mysteriously travel from one hand to the other. When they count, the reds drop to seven, while the blues jump to thirteen—surprise, surprise, three of those are red!
Mutação (Mutation) - The magician starts with four cards of the same value—let’s say the four sevens. With a flick of his wand (or whatever magicians use), those four cards transform into four kings. And just to make it even more jaw-dropping, their backs change colour too!
