What we have here is a performance video that showcases a truly Unique & Highly Commercial Routine — a Chair Test that doesn’t even involve chairs (I know, mad, right?).
One by one, five lucky volunteers from the audience are plucked from obscurity. Before they even think about where to stand (because, you know, free will and all that), a prediction is boldly flaunted on the back of an envelope assigned to each volunteer.
Each volunteer gets a number from 1 to 5 to remember (easy peasy), and then they randomly choose their spot on stage, deciding which of the five "Hollywood Walk of Fame" Stars they want to stand behind.
Now, here’s where it gets even more fun: six Celebrity Face Masks are introduced and shuffled around by the volunteers before they pick one to wear. This means one of the six masks gets the boot — no one gets out alive!
Once the celebrities are mixed up and strutting their stuff on stage, each gets the envelope corresponding to their number, containing that bold prediction made earlier.
The volunteers read out the predictions, and lo and behold, they turn out to be 100% spot on! Each celebrity’s favourite colour matches exactly with the colour in the envelope, all before any of the volunteers even knew which celebrity they’d be impersonating.
But wait, there’s more! Just to seal the deal, the colour on the back of the "Star of Fame" they randomly chose also matches the card in the envelope. Cue the gasps and applause (because who doesn’t love a bit of drama?).
In the extended version (which you'll find in the PDF), you can have each of the five volunteers act like their chosen Celebrity Mask in a way that looks suspiciously like hypnosis (spoiler: no hypnosis is actually used), adding heaps of hilarious comedy moments that your audience will love.
