Coire Branded Celtic Decks
Here's your ticket to the whimsical world of Celtic myth, wrapped up in a deck of playing cards that’s more than just a pretty face. Branded under the 'an Coire' banner, this deck is your passport to authentic Celtic culture and tradition (no need for a passport, though—just a sense of adventure!). Each face card introduces you to two legendary figures from early Irish mythology, while the backs sport the Celtic Cosmology glyph—because who doesn't love a bit of mystical flair? The Jokers? Pure mischief; meet the Púca (the cheeky Welsh Bwci that inspired the English "Boogeyman") and the infamous Scottish Boggart, both ready to spice up your game nights.
The Cosmology glyph is a feast for the eyes, featuring the cauldron of poetic inspiration, nestled at the base of a sacred otherworldly tree (no, not your garden variety tree). With its four spiraled branches representing the sacred trees of each season—rowan for Spring, oak for Summer, hazel for Autumn, and holly for Winter—you’ll also spot three iconic birds of Celtic lore: ravens, eagles, and swans (a real avian royal court, if you will). Surrounding the cauldron are four animals, each flaunting their otherworldly charm with white coats and red ears, symbolising various societal roles: the wild, prophetic boar, the brave warrior-hound, the noble kingly horse, and the wealth-bringing bull. All the artwork is lovingly hand-drawn, inspired by medieval Irish texts and classic Celtic traditions (no stock images here!). The suits have been given a cheeky twist, transformed into the magical items of the Tuatha Dé Danann: clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts are now your magical spear, sword, stone, and cauldron—thanks, Irish faeries!
