So, you’ve got an empty aluminium cup and a cheeky red ball. You plonk the ball down beside the cup and pick up both items, giving the audience a proper show-off moment (yes, it's all about the flair).
You drop the ball into the cup, making sure everyone sees it disappear into the depths of magic (not the Bermuda Triangle, don't worry). Then, you flip the cup upside down on the table and ask the audience where the ball has gone. They’ll confidently shout, “under the cup!” (classic move). But you just grin and lift the cup to reveal... absolutely nothing. “Ah ha! Here it is,” you declare, pulling the red ball from your pocket like a seasoned pro. After a quick show-and-tell with the ball, it goes back in your pocket, and you ask again, “Where’s the ball now?” Whatever they guess, you lift the cup to reveal that sneaky red ball has magically reappeared underneath!
