Once upon a time, this enchanting art was only for the posh and privileged, leaving the rest of us mere mortals in the dust.
To amp up the awe-inducing mentalism effects, clever creators have whipped up all sorts of magical gadgets, including dice props. And let’s be honest, one of these props is a bona fide classic in the magic scene. Its effect? Absolutely mesmerizing. Its design? Smart enough to charm even the littlest magicians.
Enter the
Flash Dice. You’ll probably recognise it just by its look and feel. But we didn't stop there – we took a good, hard look at this straightforward prop and cooked up some fresh, innovative ideas.
What we found was a cracking effect, but once the secret's out, even the most clueless audience member could pull it off. Kind of takes the magic out of it, doesn’t it? So, we put our thinking caps on and reimagined the entire structure.
First off, while the visual impact is fantastic, the routine was a bit on the boring side, limited to just one transformation effect. Even with number cards or ESP symbols, it still felt, well, a bit basic. And let’s not even start on the container that holds the magic – its odd dimensions had audience members' eyebrows raised. Not exactly the best look for a magical moment!
So, we hatched a plan to give the box a makeover, switching up its look to alter the audience's perception. We simplified the mechanism and gave it a shiny new design. By changing the box from rectangular to square, we not only made it eye-catching but also addressed those pesky audience suspicions. This revamp brings two nifty methods of operation to the table, resulting in a variety of magical effects and a more engaging routine.
