This classic prop featuring three coloured balls in a wooden box has been charming audiences for nearly sixty years. Watch as the magician makes them vanish one by one, only for the three coloured balls to reappear inside the box. This well-known "4D Ball Trick" has had its share of upgrades over the years. It’s always a showstopper, but we’ve had a lightbulb moment.
After closely examining it, we realised the box can actually hold more than just three balls—up to six, in fact. Not that it’s a terrible thing, but it sparked an intriguing thought.
What if we could show right from the start that there’s only room for three balls? And what if the audience could give the box a little poke themselves? (A bit of audience interaction never hurt anyone). This would ramp up the mystery and make the whole effect even more logical and jaw-dropping.
With this brainwave, we redefined and redesigned the wooden box, making it smaller and introducing a drawer design you’ve never seen before. We crafted a new internal structure that merges magic and space like a pro. Made from stunning black walnut, the box features a groundbreaking magical mechanism, making it as portable as your favourite takeaway.
To enhance the magic effect and shift the focus to the three balls, we revamped the packaging and rebranded it as the Three-Body Game. With a cheeky mix of familiar elements, new magic structures, and innovative routines, we’re bringing this captivating effect back into the limelight from a fresh angle.
