Picture this: a quarter locked away in a tiny plastic "cage," held together by four screws. Your audience can inspect this gadget and quickly realise there's no sneaky way to liberate the coin without a toolbox (and a degree in engineering).
But here’s where the fun begins! The performer effortlessly inserts and removes the coin as if they’ve got a secret passcode to the cage. Throughout the routine, the coin and cage are available for examination—because spoiler alert: there’s no trickery involved! (And if you think you can do it too, good luck with that.) This can be presented like a cheeky "bounce/no bounce" ball routine, where you’re the magician and they’re left scratching their heads.
Feeling a bit cheeky? Start with the cage empty, borrow a quarter, and make it vanish inside the cage like true sorcery!
Coin Cage does require a bit of sleight of hand, but don’t sweat it; the instructional video has got you covered.
No coin included, so grab your own quarter or a similarly-sized coin (smaller coins are welcome, but they might need a pep talk). Just a heads up: when we say silver, we mean the colour, not the metal—it's all about that 3D printed plastic life.
Coin Cage arrives fully assembled and ready for action; just make sure you’ve got a quarter handy.
