The Effect
The magician whips out a prediction bag and two cubes. An audience member picks one, signs it, and gives it a good old scramble. Both cubes get tossed into a paper bag. Then, like a true magic wizard, the magician extracts the unscrambled cube, leaving the signed, scrambled one behind. And just like that, the paper bag gets squished flat: the signed cube has pulled a Houdini on everyone.
But wait—there’s more! The magician opens the prediction bag to unveil a locked transparent box. Inside, the audience's signed, scrambled cube is waiting, having apparently taken a detour. After this mind-boggling reveal, you can smoothly dive into other routines, like an instant solve or a cheeky pattern matching effect.
Alternative Presentation: Fancy a twist? You can kick things off with a scrambled cube already locked inside that transparent box. After the audience's signed cube vanishes, the cube inside the box is revealed to be the very one they signed. (Mind blown, right?)
Ultimate Transparency: You can perform this up close and personal. All props are fully inspectable once the magic’s done, cranking up the mystery and audience engagement to eleven.
