Here’s the latest offering from Mariano Goni, a magician from Spain who has a knack for creating eye-popping magic that will have your mates questioning their sanity. You might know him from his best sellers like Nut Waltz and Melting Point - New Edition. Now, he’s back with something that’ll knock your socks off!
With Defiance, you’ll get the hang of animating small objects in ways that’ll leave everyone flabbergasted. Each routine is modular, packs a punch, and comes with multiple methods, so you can tailor the performance to your own style (because let’s face it, no one wants to be a cookie-cutter magician). The package includes EVERYTHING you need to start performing the impossible today! Here’s what’s inside:
The Incredible Spinning Card: Picture this: you toss a borrowed credit card across the room, and it just hovers there like it’s auditioning for a sci-fi film. With a flick of your wrist, you can summon it back to you at whatever speed you fancy! (Slow-motion dramatic return? Yes, please!) Bonus points for learning how to make it float through a spinning hoop.
In The Air Change: Imagine showing off a scrap of paper with a dollar sign on it. You crumple it into a ball, and it starts levitating like it’s had one too many coffees. You can stroll away, grab a lighter, and burn the floating ball to reveal a banknote, still floating in midair! (Talk about a party trick!) Plus, learn how to use this effect to produce and levitate a borrowed finger ring at any moment. Just don’t lose it!
Floating Bill: Think you know how this works? Think again. A borrowed banknote crumpled into a ball floats from hand to hand, while you can even borrow a hoop earring or bangle from a lady and pass it around before handing the bill back. (No pressure, but you’ll definitely want to nail this one.)
Bonus! Floating Cigarette: Mariano spills the beans on the most mind-boggling levitation of a cigarette you’ll ever see. It floats right above a crowded restaurant table, and whilst it’s hanging there like it owns the place, you can borrow a finger ring and show it around the cigarette. Both items can be examined, so yes, you’ll need to be clever about that! Learn this ingenious method and get the lowdown on constructing the gaff in detail. (Spoiler: the materials are easy to find at your local craft store.)
