Ambitious Aces Four aces are displayed, and your spectator picks either the red or black ones. Like magic (because it is), those chosen cards keep creeping back to the top, no matter what! And just when they think it’s over, the cards switch places right from their hands. Cue the jaw drops!
Apparition A spectator freely selects a card and buries it into the deck. You whip out another deck and deal cards face up, telling them to think of their card and shout ‘stop’ in their heads (no shouting allowed, folks). But here's the kicker—the selected card has a different color back! Just when they think you’ve thrown them a curveball, you reveal it’s back to normal!
BoomerBand A spectator picks a card and it's lost in the deck, which you wrap in a rubber band to keep any funny business at bay. But voila! At your cue, the chosen card launches from the tightly banded deck like it’s got a mind of its own, curving back into your hand. Seriously, it’s like magic with a boomerang!
Claymore Here’s a classic: a “prediction” card is laid face down. The spectator selects and signs a card, which you then lose in the deck. You draw attention to your prediction card, and surprise! It’s the signed card! Mind blown? You bet!
Equator This is an ultra-visual sandwich effect. The selected card vanishes from the top of the pack and appears between two jokers right in the middle. Cue the gasps!
In Your Face A card gets selected and lost in the deck. With a flick of your wrist that’ll make you feel like a ninja, you seemingly pluck the selected card from the middle of the deck. Watch their faces—priceless!
Pick-Pocket A signed card is lost in the deck, and you slip a joker into the spectator’s pocket. While you search the deck for their card, spoiler alert—it’s been chilling in their pocket the whole time! Sneaky, right?
SCP (Spring Card Production) You start with a selected, signed card. Then, you spring the face-up deck, and bam! A FACE DOWN card (the chosen one, of course) pops out from the middle. To top it off, you change the entire deck into a different colored back from the selected card. Just when they thought they had you figured out!
