Effect: Picture this: whilst our performer is off doing something important (probably trying to remember where he left his keys), an assistant makes a picture of an elephant disappear between two boards. But lo and behold! The silly assistant reveals the elephant dangling beneath the tray, much to the audience's delight (and confusion). Just when you think it’s all gone pear-shaped, the performer strides back on stage, ready to sort out the chaos. He makes the elephant vanish again, but, alas, our daft assistant has other ideas, exposing the poor creature still hanging around. In the end, the performer takes charge and finally manages to make the elephant disappear for good. Ta-da!
