The Effect
Your spectator picks a card, it gets lost in the deck, and another spectator takes a stab at finding it - spoiler alert: they fail. But fear not! Our fearless magician suggests a twist—introducing the mystical art of “automatic writing.” You hand over a Sharpie, they poke at the back of the wrong card like a toddler with a crayon, and what do they get? A bunch of random squiggles (just what you wanted, right?). But wait! With a cheeky wave, those squiggles morph into a clear message, spelling out the selected card. It’s not just magic; it’s an impossible keepsake that you can (and should) hand out.
