They invite a lucky audience member to fold it up and secure it with a rubber band—classic magic mischief in action. This little bundle is then placed in a glass, and the audience member gets to pick a playing card, remember it, and pop it down on the table.
As the handkerchief is unfurled, voilà! The intricate pattern of the chosen playing card suddenly appears within the white frame, whilst the pips on the card lying on the table pull a vanishing act. (Talk about a disappearing act with style!)
This trick is a delightful mix of simplicity and magic, turning an ordinary handkerchief into a canvas of card wizardry.
