How Safe is "Eye Candy", really?
We designed this effect around "Tic Tacs"—a LIGHTWEIGHT object with a POLISHED, SMOOTH surface—making it much safer than alternatives in eye-related magic. As long as you’re aware of what you’re doing, you’ll be just fine. So, do yourself a favour and watch the ENTIRE tutorial thoroughly; we’ve done our bit to create the safest prop and provide detailed teaching—it’s your job to keep yourself in check during performances.
Is this product a consumable? Do I need to buy refills?
Nope! Our gimmick is built to last and reusable. The only refills you’ll need to bother with are the actual Tic Tacs (OUR PRODUCT DOES NOT COME WITH REAL TIC TACS, just so you know).
How long is the setup time like?
Less than 30 seconds. You can set up anywhere you’re not being watched (a quick bathroom break will do the trick). The carrying case is designed to help you from start to finish, so it’s all a doddle.
Can I perform EYE CANDY while wearing contact lenses?
Absolutely! In the trailer, our performers are all wearing contacts, so you’re good to go. We’ve also thrown in extra tips for contact-wearers to ensure everyone can perform the effect as intended.
Can I REALLY learn this? How steep is the learning curve?
In the tutorial, we invited folks who’d never done this before to learn alongside us; all of them got the hang of it in just a few minutes. Plus, we’ve included the original tutorial from Eric Ross to cover everything from the very inception of this routine.
