Just when you think it can’t get any sillier, Harlan wraps up the first half with the "World's Saddest Trick," a gut-busting routine featuring a simple handkerchief vanish.
Then, in "Professor Mouthcoil," Dan shows us the chaos that ensues when you mix two popular sweets, producing a mountain of colourful paper from his mouth. Transitioning into mindreading, his hilarious prediction of a randomly named grocery item takes a twist when he actually pulls the real thing from his bag. To cap off this segment, he performs an astonishing vanish of the grocery item, just when the audience is convinced it’s all a ruse. In "Short and Long," he adds a rather cheeky twist to the venerable Professor's Nightmare.
In "Burnt to the Core," a corner is ripped from a borrowed twenty-dollar bill and then thoroughly destroyed amidst some witty banter with an audience member. Surprise! It’s later found intact in a knotted handkerchief — and yes, the corner fits perfectly. The bill vanishes again (will they ever learn?) only to reappear, yet again in the middle of a piece of rope that the spectator had in their pocket since stepping on stage (and yes, it fits once more!)
To wrap things up, Dan pulls out "Cheez Wiz," a comedic masterpiece you won’t want to miss. The premise? He plans to do the classic Card Between Panes of Glass trick but, oops, he’s fresh out of glass — or cards for that matter. So, he improvises with everyday grocery items — slices of bread as the panes and cheese slices as the cards. Hilarity ensues as a "card" is chosen, "signed" with a condiment (naturally), and vanished using...wait for it...a banana. It’s the perfect crescendo to a show that’s as funny as it is astonishing.
