The most diabolical effect in magic; The Haunted Voodoo Doll is BACK, and it’s even more TWISTED.
Now, at the climax of your classic Haunted Doll routine, you can make the doll DISAPPEAR and then REAPPEAR in the coffin box that’s been chilling on the table all along.
But wait, there’s more.
Inside your spectator's hands, the head of the Voodoo Doll TRANSFORMS into the dead person they’ve been thinking of. Yes, this is probably the most utterly bonkers thing in magic. Black Magic, anyone?
Hoodoo: The Return comes with TWO Voodoo Dolls:
The first doll is haunted (just like the original gimmick), allowing you to perform the classic routine of stabbing it in the heart with a pin, making it rise in your hand with NO threads or magnets, putting a glass over it, and even getting it to stand on one leg (which is more than I can do, to be honest).
The second doll is non-gimmicked but includes FIVE interchangeable heads:
ONE Normal Head (with a cheeky playing card reveal in the eyes that they won’t catch unless you point it out - King of Clubs)
FOUR Dead Celebrity Heads - Elvis, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, and Amy Winehouse.
Basic routine:
Just picture it: your spectator secretly 'thinks' of (or picks) a dead celebrity to raise from the grave.
In a bid to commune with the beyond, you whip out your Voodoo Doll and execute the spine-chilling rising act in your hand. Just when they believe the creepy performance is over, the doll's head morphs into their chosen dead celebrity, right in their palms, proving some kind of supernatural connection did indeed occur (cue the shivers).
Of course, you can switch the doll with a bit of sleight of hand, or utilise the self-working Switch Coffin Box provided. Yep, that eerie coffin box your set comes in can now make the Voodoo doll switch in, switch out, disappear, and reappear (because who doesn’t love a good surprise?).
