Hopping Dice gives a cheeky twist to the Hopping Half routine, swapping out the usual suspects for some nifty dice. These beauties are meticulously crafted, compact, and portable—perfect for when you want to impress someone without breaking a sweat.
We were dead set on creating the ultimate dice shell. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows; we faced the Herculean task of ensuring the materials were thin yet precise, while still looking like the regular dice you know and love. After three months of tinkering and testing (and perhaps a few cups of tea), the Hopping Dice was born.
Made from 316 stainless steel, each piece is hand-measured, polished, ground, and welded to ensure a fit so precise it’s within a whisker of 0.1mm. The dice markings? Oh, they were aligned through rigorous testing, and the colours (gold and silver) are just stunning—trust us, your fingers will thank you for the delightful feel. Plus, the whole set is compact and perfectly balanced (like a tightrope walker).
The included tutorial covers three routines:
Hopping Half: You show two dice, remove one, but—surprise!—you still have two in your hand. This cheeky bit repeats, leaving two dice for the audience to inspect at the end. (Of course, you can opt for the classic vanish instead, just like the old Hopping Half.)
Scotch & Soda: You pull out two dice from an empty coin purse, close it up, and poof! One die disappears, only to magically reappear inside the purse. Classic misdirection at its finest.
Instant Transposition: You show off two dice—one gold, one silver. Take out the gold, and with a wave, it transforms into silver while the silver die turns gold. It’s like a colour-changing magic show in your hand!
And just to sweeten the deal, we’ve thrown in two extra regular silver dice, because why limit yourself to just three routines? Get creative and whip up an even broader array of tricks.
