Remember those "Lights from Fingertips" effects that made you feel like a wizard? Well, with the new Illuminate, you're not just catching light; it now pulses and flickers like a firefly on a summer's eve (and yes, that’s a good thing).
Conceived by Joseph Lee and Zio back in late 2022, this isn't just another gimmick. We've been busy helping magicians polish their stage acts with snazzy light transitions.
We spent ages miniaturising the electronics and tinkering with the light's brightness to make it feel just right. Over 10 prototypes later, and we've nailed the timing (don’t worry, we’re not counting the late-night energy drinks).
Illuminate offers three versions:
Version 1 - Gradually brightens then instantly goes dark: Simple as pie! You make it glow, and it shuts off like a light switch.
Version 2 - Instantly brightens then gradually fades: Flick the switch, and voilà! Instant glow, then it dims down slower than your mate after a few pints.
Version 3 (the Swiss Army knife of versions) - Gradually brightens and dims, with the ability to drop it like it’s hot: This one’s got a segmented switch for that gradual control. Activate it, detach it from your hand, and it’ll keep glowing as if it’s showing off. Press it again, and watch it fade out like your enthusiasm for Mondays.
