Your assistant saunters onto the stage with a folding stool that probably has more personality than most of us. The performer gives one side of the stool a cheeky nudge with their leg, and when they pull away, voilà! The stool springs to life... and leaps an impressive 5-6 feet in the air. It’s like the stool's auditioning for a part in a circus or something. The performer deftly catches the stool before it can make a run for it (because who wants a rogue stool on the loose?) and plonks it back down on the stage floor.
