After over two and a half years of polishing (and probably a few late nights), here’s the Just Name It creation by Astor, featuring three top-notch routines. Each of these gems uses a red backed jumbo indexed prediction card alongside a blue backed standard indexed deck.
In the Pocket
Picture this: there’s one lone prediction card chilling in your pocket. You can even pull it out and show it to the audience (face down, of course) before the spectator names any card. After they name their card, you pluck it from the deck and place it face up on the table. No funny business, no forcing—it just happens that the prediction card matches the named card perfectly. Magic, right?

Now for the second routine: there’s just one face down card among a bunch of face up cards, and wouldn’t you know it, it matches the card named by the spectator. No pressure, though!

Lastly, we have a bonus effect that shakes things up a bit. The spectator gets to insert the prediction card face down into the face up deck, right above the card it matches. (If that doesn’t sound like fun, I don’t know what does!)
