This classic close-up trick is the kind of gem you won’t want to leave out of your show!
A brass ring is casually tossed onto the floor of a charming little wooden box. You close the front and back doors like you’re sealing a secret, and then you pop a mini magic wand into the slotted holes on the side. The ends of the wand hang out like a pair of awkwardly positioned antennas. With a few magical gestures (and perhaps a cheeky wink), you whip out the wand and—ta-da!—the ring is now inexplicably trapped on it! Both doors are wide open to prove there’s no sneaky double ring hiding in there.
Feel free to let your audience examine the ring, box, and wand—just don’t stand too close, or they might start asking pesky questions.
The box measures approximately 5cm x 4.5cm x 7cm, which is just about the size of your average curious cat (if only they knew how to perform magic).
