The basic effect:

You nonchalantly present a cola bottle, scribble something on the label (you know, just to keep things interesting), and even peel it back to show that the bottle’s contents are perfectly ordinary. Then, with a quick shake, the marked label appears to VISUALLY MELT inside the bottle, right before their eyes. And guess what? You can hand it over for inspection immediately, leaving them with a souvenir they’ll treasure FOREVER! Everything is fully inspectable—even if they decide to pop open the bottle and fish out the label.

Originally conjured up in 2004, Labelled was quite the hit in the magic community. But, like all good things, it had its quirks: you couldn't just plonk the bottle down, show that there was no label inside, or kick off the routine with a bit of inspection. FAQs

Is the bottle really factory sealed?
Yes, it’s not some dodgy illusion or glued mess—the factory seal on the cap is genuinely intact.

Can the bottle be closely examined after the effect?
Absolutely! In fact, it’s crucial to have it closely examined. That’s part of the beauty of the effect.

Can you give the bottle away as a souvenir?
Of course! Ben usually doesn’t keep a Labelled bottle after performing. He’s had countless messages from people who cherish the bottle and wouldn’t dream of tossing it out!

Is the setup easy?
Ben shows you his most streamlined way to prepare the effect. It’ll take a bit of practice, but don’t sweat it; it’s not rocket science. If you keep the bottle after performing, you can reset in seconds. As half of the prep is reusable, you won’t be remaking those parts often. If you give the bottle away, you’ll, of course, need to prepare that bit again.
