Here’s the setup: Five ESP cards are laid out — circle, cross, wavy lines, square, and star. You also get three graduated envelopes. The magic happens when a participant, under your watchful gaze (or lack thereof — you turn away), picks an ESP card from the bunch. The chosen card is reversed in the packet and then safely tucked away in an opaque envelope that the participant can check out. Spoiler alert: it’s completely opaque. This envelope gets stuffed into a second envelope, and then both of those are sealed inside a third envelope, which is then plopped into a holder.
Here’s where it gets juicy: you, the performer, manage to reveal the reversed symbol under conditions that seem downright impossible. The method? Clean as a whistle! Clever? You bet! Subtle? Definitely! Devilish? Oh, for sure! Classic? Absolutely!
Now, here’s the kicker:No gimmicks, no forces, no sleight of hand. Everything’s unprepared and easy to use. Participants can inspect everything.
