Line is a cheeky little visual trick cooked up by Chiam Yu Sheng from sunny Singapore.
Here’s how it goes: a spectator picks a card and (of course) signs it, because what’s a magic trick without a personal touch? The magician then casually loses the card in the deck, like it’s going on a holiday. Next, they grab another card and draw a line on its back with a marker. With a flick (not a magic wand, but you get the idea), that line disappears faster than your mate’s excuse for being late. Finally, the magician fans out the deck, revealing the spectator's signed card — and guess what? The line has magically appeared on its back! (Spoiler alert: it’s the same line you just saw vanish.)
Line doesn’t stop there; it can also pull off other nifty effects, like morphing a curved line into a straight one. Just draw a curved line on the back of a card, flick it again (because flicking is the secret sauce), and watch that curve straighten out. Want to get fancy? The straight line can switch back to a curve. (Because why not keep them on their toes?)

Advantages:
- Visually stunning and utterly practical — ideal for live audiences who love a good show.
- So easy to do, you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it first.
- The gimmick card is built to last. No flimsy nonsense here.
