So, you’ve got two cards — one with a blue back and the other with a red back. Standard fare, right? Well, hold your horses! Your audience will spot that both cards have a rather impressive hole in one of the corners — it’s bigger than a €2 coin! (Seriously, who designed these cards? An enthusiastic cheese grater?)
Show them off, front and back. Get up close, and I mean *really* close. (You might even spot your reflection — hope you’re looking snazzy.)
Now, bring those two cards together. Like magic (spoiler alert: it is), they’ll lock together just like links in a chain! Inspect them again — there’s literally nothing to see! ABSOLUTELY nothing! (No, we’re not talking about your last online date.)
Invite a spectator to pull on this unholy union and watch as they (and you) are baffled at their inability to separate them! (Take that, gravity!)
Then, with the cards still locked in a tight embrace, give them a gentle blow. Voilà! Just like that, the cards separate as if by magic — and they’re still intact! (You can thank the gimmick for that little miracle.)
