Lost Legends is a series that dives headfirst into this gloomy epoch, blending historical context with enough fantasy to make your head spin. We’ve whipped up a stunning set of playing cards that wouldn’t look out of place in a museum, featuring intricate hand-drawn designs that scream "Baroque decorative style." Think of it as a poignant tune for this never-ending nightmare, a melody of grandeur and sorrow (and perhaps a bit of dark humour).
The Witch:
The artwork on the card box is nothing short of enchanting, evoking a sense of historical gravitas that feels sculpted rather than printed. With gold foils that catch the eye, the tuckbox is an art piece in its own right (seriously, it’s like magic for your shelf).
The construction of the card box nods to the solemnity of Papal murals, while cheekily mixing in elements from Mughal decorative art to create a rather splendid composition (because why not?).
Both the front and back designs are drenched in metallic ink, giving just the right amount of shimmer to highlight the intricate patterns and characters.
