The Devil Eight My Card'
The Devil Eight My Card is a simple yet mind-blowing miracle from the creative genius of Matt Pilcher.
Using a borrowed deck (yes, the one your mate just shuffled), your spectator simply picks ANY eight cards. They then think of one card and remember it (easy peasy).
After a thorough shuffle—where they decide where the cards go, mind you—the magician has no clue which card they’re thinking of. Once the cards are laid out on the table, the magician steps back and doesn’t touch the cards again. Only then can the spectator reveal their thought-of card, which has mysteriously vanished! Where did it go? .. The Devil has snatched it!
A few points to remember:
- This can be done 100% impromptu with a borrowed shuffled deck.
- All you need is eight cards (of the spectator's choice).
- You genuinely DON'T know what card they're thinking of.
