Routine
Phase 1: The magician and the spectator each SIGN their names on a card printed with an hourglass.
Phase 2: Both cards are torn in half, symbolising the sharing of each other's time (it’s like a magic team-building exercise).
Phase 3: The two halves of the signed cards can be perfectly MATCHED together, revealing a HEART-SHAPED pattern (cue the “awws”).
Phase 4: The magician crafts the final card into a "Polaroid Photo," which can be examined and kept by the spectator (because who doesn’t love a souvenir?).
Concept
The hourglass represents time, and the magician and the audience tearing the card symbolise that they have shared their time with each other (but don’t worry, no actual time travel is involved).
The complete reassembly of both cards signifies that this moment is a memory created together by both persons (you’ll be reminiscing for ages).
In the end, it’s made into a "Polaroid" keepsake and given to the audience; every time they see it, they’ll recall this period of time (and hopefully not cringe).
