Mountain & City Magic Set by Seth Yang & Coin Key is a stunning piece of craftsmanship from HPG Studio and Secret Factory.
Picture this: the mountains are nestled in the city, and the city sprawls across the mountains; it’s all about scheming and then executing (no pressure, right?).
We aim to present the mountain city of your dreams as a whimsical blend of reality and fantasy. Time bends as the past and future collide in a 54-card symphony with six quirky movements.
First off, we’ve woven in tales from the Republic of China for a dash of historical flair and drawn inspiration from legendary characters. With a hermit, a songbird, and a half-immortal guiding us, we dig into their stories to enhance the narrative and give the cards a solid historical foundation.
The design and gameplay are all about strategy. We’ve crafted six main themes for the Mountain & City Ploy, complete with extra chips for a bit of fun.

The Mountain & City Deck features a classic 52-card pack plus two jokers and two special cards—one’s a double back card, and the other’s a double-faced card with Aces and Jacks on either side (fancy, eh?). We’ve designed four main systems to keep things interesting:
