The magician confidently asserts he can track down the spectator's chosen card... and, should he fail, he’ll munch on the entire deck. A promise is a promise—so off he goes, pretending to “eat” the cards (no, really).
Then comes the outrageous bit: he swallows razor blades and a length of thread, inviting a spectator to join the madness. In the grand reveal, he slowly pulls the thread back out of his mouth—now adorned with the very blades he just gulped down. And, dangling at the end... voilà, the spectator's selected, folded playing card.
