The magician kicks things off by handing two prediction cards to the audience—because we all love a bit of suspense, right? Then, he shows off a thoroughly mixed deck, invites a spectator to pick a card, memorise it, and then shuffle the deck like they’re at a family gathering. Easy peasy.
In a twist that’d make a plot twist blush, he instantly reveals the chosen card: the Ace of Spades. But wait, there’s more! He then goes on to locate not just the Ace of Spades but also the Aces from the other three suits—impressive, eh?
The magic doesn’t stop there! He pulls out more Spade court and value cards: the 10, J, Q, and K. And then—bam!—the remaining Spades from 2 through 7 appear as if they were just waiting in the wings for their big moment.
Only the Spades 8 and 9 are playing hard to get. But fear not! The magician points to the prediction cards held by the audience since the start. When flipped over, they reveal themselves as the very missing Spades. Talk about a solid reveal!
For the grand finale, with just a snap of his fingers (no, he doesn’t have a magic wand, but it works just as well), the entire previously chaotic deck magically restores itself to the pristine order of a brand-new deck. It’s like a tidy-up fairy came through!
