Imagine handing out some bright strips of paper for your audience to examine—nothing suspicious here! You then proceed to tear them into bits and crumple the pieces in full view. No dodgy moves, just magic. With a simple puff of air, those tatty scraps morph into a glorious, complete paper ball before your very eyes!
Crafted by the dynamic duo Ethan Yip and Johnny Yip and brought to you by Illuwizard, Origami Conjuring takes inspiration from Dan Harlan's classic Kamifusen routine, but let’s be real—it’s much more than a pale imitation.
Ethan and Johnny have cranked this concept up a notch, creating a full-on Torn-and-Restored magic system that boasts cleaner transformations, smoother handling, and a plethora of practical applications. From those examinable strips of colourful paper to that jaw-dropping paper-ball transformation, the whole sequence is straightforward and visually stunning. The best part? Once the magic happens, your hands are squeaky clean, allowing you to flaunt the final result while your audience is still reeling from the wonder.
This isn’t a one-trick pony either. Beyond the eye-popping paper-ball transformation, you can seamlessly adapt the system for a torn-and-restored napkin, a dazzling Chinese Snowstorm finale, a torn-and-restored card, and even whip up your own original routines. One system. Endless possibilities. Whether you’re up close, in a quaint theatre, or on a grand stage, Origami Conjuring fits right into your style and setting like a glove.
Dan Harlan has given Origami Conjuring his stamp of approval, raving about its clever interpretation of the Kamifusen ball transformation, its clean execution, and its creative scope beyond just one routine. This isn’t just a magic trick; it’s a creative asset for those who appreciate striking visual magic and practical design. Tear it, crumple it, breathe life into it, and turn a handful of ripped paper into a bona fide miracle right in front of your audience. Origami Conjuring is originally developed by Ethan Yip and Johnny Yip. Presented by Illuwizard and crafted with working magicians in mind.
