A floating Sharpie trick that takes you straight to the mystical vibes of Stonehenge!
Everything here can be inspected! And yes, you can actually write with the Sharpie!
The magician regales the audience with tales of his recent pilgrimage to the ancient wonder of Stonehenge—built 4500 years ago in England.
Those massive stones stand tall in pairs (he demonstrates this by leaning two decks of cards on their sides) and are linked by a third one—he casually lays the Sharpie on top of the decks.
“To this day, scientists are scratching their heads over why the stones are stacked like this. I've pondered it myself! I reckon there's some real magic in play. According to a rather dubious chronicle from the 12th century, Merlin the wizard ordered the stones be moved from Ireland. It went something like this!”
With a flourish, he whisks one deck away from beneath the Sharpie, which remains suspended in mid-air! He glides his hands under and above it—nothing's propping it up!
Then, he hands everything over to the audience for a thorough investigation, like good little scientists. Spoiler alert: no one manages to replicate the floating Sharpie; it's about as ordinary as they come (you can even scribble with it)!
An ultra-light accessory makes resetting the trick as smooth as butter (and completely undetectable).
