Picture this: an ordinary deck of cards. A spectator picks any card they fancy (no pressure, mate). And you? You’ve got your eyes shut and your head turned (because clearly, that’s how magic works).
The card gets popped back into the deck, and it’s shuffled like a drunken poker night. You’re blissfully unaware of what’s happening...
Once the shuffle is done, you crack your eyes open and whip out a small board from your pocket. You scribble down the name of a card, turn it around, and voilà!
The card written on the board is the exact card chosen by your spectator. No smoke, no mirrors, just sheer magic (and a bit of luck, but we won’t mention that).
