Perfect Stab by Hank (Blank)

Perfect Stab is the kind of card revelation that’ll have your audience wondering if you’ve made a deal with the devil (or at least a very persuasive magician). No dodgy moves or tedious build-up here—just pure, unadulterated shock value. It flew off the shelves at the 2026 Blackpool Magic Convention faster than you can say “abracadabra.”

The magician shuffles the deck and invites a spectator to pick and sign a card of their choice. After a proper shuffle (because we’re not savages), the signed card goes back in. Then, voilà—a knife makes an entrance! The spectator is asked to stab the knife directly into the deck. As the blade pierces through the cards, they’ll feel that satisfying resistance—like they’re actually doing something (which they are, so bonus points to them). When you spread the deck, the knife is revealed, lodged right at their signed card. Boom!

This isn’t just a “find my card” trick; it’s an experience they’ll remember (and probably talk about at the pub for years).
