As we rummaged through the treasure trove left by Martin Lewis, courtesy of his father, Eric C. Lewis, we stumbled upon some truly astonishing gems—far too good to keep to ourselves!
Alongside a collection of machine-typed proofs from Eric's published works, we found a delightful assortment of his favourite Magic Effects, all explained in his unmistakable style (no fluff here, just the good stuff).
We also dug up reviews of magician performances that date back to the early 1900s, plus biographical gems researched and compiled by Eric on the likes of Oswald Williams and John Martin—seriously, this is like a magic history lesson without the boring bits.
Among the treasures were some rather cryptic handwritten notes about magic routines. So cryptic, in fact, that we had to call in AI to decipher the text and recreate the accompanying sketches (thank you, future tech!).
