Gather 'round, seasoned sorcerers! Get ready to dive into the whimsical world of Psych-Go by David Devlin — a delightful little gem that’ll have your spectators scratching their heads in bemusement!
Picture this: two unsuspecting volunteers take the stage. Spectator A, feeling all kinds of confident, shuffles the deck before dealing exactly twenty cards into your eager hands. You pass some of these over to Spectator A and the rest to Spectator B. They shuffle their packets like pros. You then snatch them back and give those twenty cards a good mix-up — it’s a party in your hands!
Now it’s time to dazzle them with some good ol’ 'Psychic Telekinetic Teleportation' (yes, that’s a mouthful, but it sounds impressive!). Spectator A holds out a hand, and you deal exactly ten cards into it. With a flourish, they cover their precious cards with their other hand, creating an impenetrable fortress of mystery!
Meanwhile, you fan out the remaining ten cards for everyone to ogle at. Each spectator is free to think of any card they fancy (seriously, there’s no funny business here!). Those ten cards are then dealt into Spectator B’s hands, who also covers their cards like a true guardian of secrets.
After a bit of playful banter, it’s time for the big reveal. Spectator B counts their cards back into your hands — wait for it… only eight cards? The thought-of cards are M.I.A.! Now, Spectator A counts their cards back, and what’s this? Twelve cards?! For the first time, they announce the cards they merely thought of, and lo and behold, those cards are nestled snugly among Spectator A's pile! Mind blown!
