What is S.E.M.?
S.E.M. flips the traditional sun and moon copper/silver transposition on its head (and probably does a little dance while it's at it)! This routine comes with its own special props and can be performed as a five-minute showpiece (whether you're standing or sitting) for larger audiences, or you can streamline it for table hopping. With a straightforward handling, you can whip this out of your pocket and perform on the fly — no faffing about!
What happens:
You introduce a vibrant globe and a cheeky little denim pocket containing some coins. The coins, featuring the sun and the moon, can be inspected (go on, have a poke around!). First, the sun and moon switch places, then—wait for it—the moon vanishes and pops up under the globe. The globe is lifted from its base, and lo and behold, it magically turns transparent!
Then, the sun gets shoved inside the pocket and cheekily penetrates right through it. A spectator can examine the pocket and plop the coin back inside, but surprise! It penetrates again! The coins do their magic switcheroo, then completely vanish. One coin reappears under the globe, while the other drops back out of the pocket. Both coins can be scrutinised, and your hands are as clean as a whistle!
