Back in September 2002, Jay Sankey and Richard Sanders kicked off a video correspondence that would change the magic game (or at least give it a good shake). They started shooting rough ideas and handlings back and forth between Toronto and Montreal, honing their routines like a fine cheese (and who doesn’t love cheese?). Fast forward a year and a half of trial and error in their professional gigs, and the duo finally met in Montreal in January 2004 for a hardcore, pizza-fuelled, card-slinging marathon. They barely stopped for a shower (but let’s not dwell on that) as they filmed the gold that fills this extraordinary double volume DVD.
