Designed with simplicity and elegance in mind, this nifty little timepiece is bound to turn heads. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out our entire watch collection: the top-notch SB Watch (2020), the crowd-pleaser SB Watch (2021), the limited edition SB Watch Steel models, and our quirky SB Watch Pocket versions.

Featuring a crown-like button that spins without a care in the world, you can pull it out for effect and let your spectator “set a time” while you sneakily force a preset time. Sneaky, right?

The 2022 Modern models come in two fabulous styles:

  • White Modern Shiny: a glossy silver body paired with a pristine white face flaunting numbers (3, 6, 9, 12), the logo, and the all-important “QUARTZ” label
  • Black Modern Shiny: a sleek black body, with a matching black face showing numbers (3, 6, 9, 12), the logo, and yes, the “QUARTZ” label

The SB Watch operates without any confederate or pre-show nonsense. You can perform it anytime, anywhere, without a hitch (even at your Nan’s Sunday roast).

2020 Models VS. 2021/22 Models
The differences are as follows:

  • Logo: 2020 models sport the SB logo, while the 2021/22 versions flaunt a snazzy new logo
  • Crown: 2020 models have a fixed crown, whereas the 2021/22 models' crown spins freely without any magical effect

The 2020 models have the advantage of claiming the crown is stuck, making it seem impossible to set the time. Plus, it’s trickier to guess that the crown’s a button. On the other hand, the 2021/22 models let you invite your spectator to turn the crown, making them think they’re in control while you cleverly force a preset time. Ideal for your one-ahead routine (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good one-ahead?).

The 2022 models come equipped with quick-release straps. Handy, eh?

The TimeSmith App
Developed by the clever chaps at Benke Smith, this app is available on both Android and iOS. It’s your backstage pass to control the SB Watch, allowing you to set the hour and minute hands to display a custom time. Your spectator can select the time freely, or you can use a pre-configured (force) timestamp. And let’s not forget, the number of magic routines and custom options will only expand over time, thanks to our dedicated Facebook community. But already, the app boasts a whopping 12 ways to set the time:

  • Lock Screen: type in the time whilst unlocking your phone — even if the spectator peeks, they won’t catch on.
  • Swipe: swipe on your phone or use your Apple Watch. Easy peasy.
  • Doodle: let them scribble down the time on an innocent doodle app, or use a compatible board, and voilà, they set the watch for you.
  • Spotted Dice: got our Spotted Dice? Let your audience member roll, and the SB Watch is set — you just sit back and relax.
  • Rubik's Cube: CubeSmith users, rejoice! Just make four simple moves and the SB Watch is set before you even kick off your favourite routine.
  • Photo: have your spectator jot down the time, and just by holding the paper over your phone, the SB Watch knows what to do. Want to gift them a photo? Snap a pic of them holding the paper, and as the shutter clicks, the SB Watch is set. No sweat.
  • Remote Control: using a compatible remote (Wilson Nexus, Thought Cast Versa), you can set the time without touching the app. (Sold separately, of course.)
  • Voice Recognition: feeling lazy? Just chat with your audience, and the watch sets itself. You can set words to times — no numbers needed. Best for quiet environments, like a Zoom show (because who doesn’t love a good Zoom call?).
  • Calculator method (Android only): perform another routine involving time as a 4-digit number, and let the SB do the heavy lifting.
  • Web Input: use a dedicated website just for the SB Watch and input the time there. Perfect for stage or any scenario where you've got a sneaky assistant.
  • Bluetooth Keyboard: with a Bluetooth keyboard, typing the time is a doddle.
  • NFC/RFID: have our NFC/RFID cards? If your phone reads them, jot down times, set up the app, and holding the card near your phone will set the time. Magic!

Let’s be honest, isn’t the SB Watch the most brilliant prediction watch you’ve ever seen? We’ve got even more input methods up our sleeve, so stay tuned.

SB Watch Has a Bright Future
The SB Watch and the TimeSmith Apps will keep getting spruced up with new features that you’ll get for free. No hidden catches here!

Replaceable Battery
The SB Watch runs on a replaceable CR2032 button battery, which will keep it ticking for over a year if used as a regular watch. Sure, using it for magic (frequently moving those hands) drains the battery quicker, but we’re still estimating several months of battery life. Not too shabby!
