We’ve crafted this beauty to look effortlessly sleek and oh-so-natural. (Because who wants to look flashy when you can look fabulous?)

Don’t forget to check out our other watch models: the classic SB Watch (2020), the crowd-pleasing SB Watch (2021), the snazzy limited edition SB Watch Steel models, and our quirky SB Watch Pocket models.

This one features a button that masquerades as a crown—yes, it’s turnable and does absolutely nothing. You’ll be able to pretend to pull it out and ask your spectator to “set a time” while you slyly force a preset time. Sneaky, eh?

The 2022 Modern models:

  • White Modern Shiny: shiny silver body, pristine white face with numbers (3, 6, 9, 12), the logo, and the “QUARTZ” label
  • Black Modern Shiny: shiny black body, black face with numbers (3, 6, 9, 12), the logo, and the “QUARTZ” label
The SB Watch requires NO confederate or pre-show. You can perform it anywhere, anytime—no sweat.

2020 Models VS. 2021/22 Models

Here’s the lowdown:

  • Logo: The 2020 models sport an SB logo, while the 2021/22 models flaunt a fresh new logo.
  • Crown: The 2020 models have a fixed crown, while the 2021/22 models let you turn the crown with no effect whatsoever.
The 2020 models have the perk of allowing you to claim the crown is stuck, making it harder for your audience to figure out the button trickery. But the 2021/22 models let you ask your spectator to turn the crown, making them think they’re setting the time while you work your magic behind the scenes. It’s ideal for your one-ahead routine, if you catch my drift.

The 2022 models come equipped with quick-release straps—because who doesn’t love a good change-up?

The TimeSmith App

Developed by the brainy Benke Smith, this app is your trusty sidekick for controlling the SB Watch. It lets you set the hour and minute hands to display a custom time. Your spectator can pick whatever time they fancy, or you can have a sneaky pre-configured (force) timestamp. The number of magical routines and custom options is growing, thanks to our fabulous Facebook community. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves; the app already boasts 12 ways to set the time:

  • Lock Screen: Type in the time while unlocking your phone—your spectator won’t catch on, even if they’re peering over your shoulder.
  • Swipe: Swipe on your phone or use your Apple Watch. Easy peasy.
  • Doodle: Get your spectator to jot down the time in a doodle app or a compatible board, and voilà—watch is set.
  • Spotted Dice: Got our Spotted Dice? Let someone roll them, and the SB Watch sets itself—no effort from you!
  • Rubik's Cube: If you're a CubeSmith user, just make four simple moves and the SB Watch is set before you even start your routine. Easy as pie.
  • Photo: Have your spectator write down the time, hold the paper over your phone, and watch the magic happen. Want to snap a pic? Capture the moment with them holding the paper, and the watch sets itself—pure genius!
  • Remote Control: Using a compatible remote (Wilson Nexus, Thought Cast Versa), you can set the time without even opening the app. Sold separately, of course.
  • Voice Recognition: Feeling a bit lazy? Just chat with your audience and set the SB Watch—no numbers needed. Best in a quiet space, like a Zoom show. (You know, for those introverts.)
  • Calculator method (Android only): Use another routine that involves time as a 4-digit number, and let the SB do the heavy lifting.
  • Web Input: Use a dedicated website for the SB Watch to input the time—perfect for stages or sneaky assistance.
  • Bluetooth Keyboard: Input the time with ease using a Bluetooth keyboard. Simple.
  • NFC/RFID: Have our NFC/RFID cards? Write times on them, set up the app, and hold the card near your phone—easy peasy!
Now, let’s be real—how is the SB Watch not the best prediction watch you’ve laid eyes on? We’ve still got more tricks up our sleeves for future input methods!

SB Watch Has a Bright Future

The SB Watch and the TimeSmith Apps get regular updates with new features—free of charge, of course.

Replaceable Battery

The SB Watch is powered by a replaceable CR2032 button battery, giving you over a year of power if used like a regular watch. Sure, using it for magic (and moving those hands a lot) drains the battery a bit faster, but we’re still talking several months of battery life. Not too shabby!
