After our smashing success with the TOAST'd FROST'd & JUIC'd decks, we fancied a little detour. Normally, it takes us about four months—132 days—to whip up a deck, but this time we thought, "Why not do it in half the time?" So, here we are, in just 66 days!
Howlin' Jacks designer and illustrator Andy, who’s got a bit of a graffiti past (he's tagged walls in places like Belfast, Dublin, London, Rome, Sydney, DC, and L.A.), decided to go back to his roots and give a deck a good spray!
From the Courts of Street Kings and Queens to the Aces and the custom pips & drips—every card is a unique masterpiece (because why not?). And here’s the kicker: the joker cards are ACTUAL STICKERS! (Yes, you heard that right.)
Unlike those other Kickstarter campaigns that always seem to want your wallet for ‘extras’, we’ve splurged on the best finish for these cards right from the get-go. The tuck box? Oh, it’s embossed and foiled for that classy touch from day one!
Once the deck took shape, our production wizard Beau crafted a limited-edition Spray Can to house the Scrawler 66’s... and let’s be honest, it looks absolutely brilliant. We can’t wait for you to get your mitts on these cards!
So, once again, Howlin' Jacks is pushing the limits of what playing cards can be, and hopefully bringing a fresh crowd into this enchanting magical realm.
